Have you ever had a friend who is always expressing their appreciation? Wasn't it nice. Easy, trusting, loving. Gratitude is loving what you already have. It's such a comfortable feeling.
Hugh Prather wrote this in his book "Notes To Myself" in the 70's. I've never forgotten it because I immediately accepted it as true. If you are wanting something, the underlying energy is around lack. Whereas the energy of gratitude is having. What do you think?
You've heard all the old sayings: "What you think is what you get." "Your mind is a magnet." "Be careful what you wish for." etc. etc. When it comes to money, the popular conversation is so often about debt. When what we'd really like to be talking about is wealth? True or true?
How do you know you're falling in love? Well, the more you learn about your partner the more you are attracted to them. Is this love growing or what? Is this because you are listening? I believe that learning to listen is learning to love! And who doesn't appreciate being listened to?
Mt. Maunganui on the East Coast, showcases one of New Zealand most beautiful surf beaches. This charming walkway takes you around the base of "The Mount". It's hugely popular with tourists of course with spectacular views out across the South Pacific Ocean.
Right in the middle of the North Island of New Zealand these magnificent lakes draw in tourists and fishers by the busload. Easily accessible but pretty cold to swim in! Rendered in a simple painterly fashion.
Shakespeare said "Unto thyself be true." Sometimes you just have to back yourself up with sensitive honesty. Sometimes that means saying "No". Not easy but essential for your long-term health.
Call it "Positive "Reinforcement", "Approval", "Positive Mental Attitude" - they're closely aligned. If you believe in the "Law of Attraction", you'll need to create a pathway for the object of your affection to approach, to enter, to reside in your life. The habit of Gratitude has been getting a lot of good press for a long while now. Have you embraced it? I created this poster to serve as a daily reminder.
Would you say you are a good listener? To listen to another is a magnificent way to acknowledge them. Saint Mother Teresa made this statement: "People hunger more for acknowledgement than bread." How many good listeners do you know? In my book, it's the best way to start loving someone.
"If you want a different result, do something differently." Sounds simple enough doesn't it. But in my experience most people will blame circumstances before they will make different choices. A different choice along the line will probably affect the outcome. This poster is designed as a daily reminder for you to gather up the required courage to make the change.
What an idyllic setting. The whole family has come down to the river to watch the sun setting. Questions from the kids, squawking from the birds overhead, a warm sense of "this is very nice." It's not often you can get the whole family together in a quiet, peaceful setting. So here's a poster to remind you to do it more often!
Auckland City of Sails. You can see where Auckland gets it's moniker from. I get to enjoy this "slice of life" every day. My whole life has been centered around this magnificent Harbour and Gulf. And now millions of passengers each year get to share my privilege.
A GPS is a wonderful invention. Just set it and then you can sit back and be guided to where you want to go. You can use your incredible imagination in the same way. Let your imagination guide you. It will take you where you really want to go - if you trust it! This beautiful poster is your daily reminder.
Can you hear the sweet sax music? The passion of musicians is fabulous to watch and listen to. What amazing talent. Do you love making music? Perhaps you've just starting writing your own. I can't imagine how exciting that must be. They say Beethoven could carry a whole symphony in his head. Magnificent! I thought this post could be inspirational on your music room wall.
Is this "inspirational" for you? Your first morning coffee magically appears out of a pile of coffee beans? Perhaps you've haven't woken up yet! Those white objects in the background look like icebergs but actually they're white fluffy clouds. So relax, how do you like your coffee sir? (Poster 24" x 20")
